The green

Overijssel Vakantiepark Heino lies in the middle of the natural enviroments which can be used to great extent for cycling. There is so much beauty it cannot be described – such as the national park “Sallandse Heuvelrug”.
In this hilly area you’ll find wonderful fields and beautiful nature.

Manors, mills

The nature is not completely untouched by human hands. The still in use mills, manors of the royal and much more can be found in between all the trees. The area of Heino is quite rich in this heritage. Try: Huize ’t Rosendael, Huize de Gunne, Havezate Den Alerdinck, Havezate De Clockhof & Het Nijenhuis.

Children

If the little ones still have energy left after their activities then you can take them out to several theme parks such as Avonturenpark Hellendoorn, Attractiepark Slagharen, Speelstad Oranje, Koningin Julianatoren en Ballorig. There are zoos nearby as well, Noorderdierenpark Emmen, Dolfinarium Harderwijk, zwembad de Scheg, Kartplaza enz.

Museums & Sights

There are several museums in the near area such as Speelgoed– en Blikmuseum Deventer, Het Oale Meesterhuus Slagharen, Tinnen Figuren museum Ommen, Ecodrome Zwolle.

Glider airfield

Hanggliders fly around the area because of the nearby airfield. You can try an introductory flight or a course, and are welcome for lunch and coffee.
